His post wasn't ignored.  There's just a lot more behind reviews than a cut and dry 'this game is good, that game is bad'.  Sure Mario Galaxy got high reviews, but much of that was because of hype.  The same hype that pushed GTAIV up to a perfect score on many sites.  At the same time, its the counter-effect to that hype which lowers many Wii game scores, as reviewers see the Wii being so popular with no solid basis in their minds.  The system isn't the strongest graphically, isn't the most popular with 'hardcore' gamers and isn't generating the most marketing.  Yet it sells the most systems and software.

In short, they review Wii games more harshly than other games, and only a few games, such as Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3, get high scores because they have strong hype behind them and are popular even with reviewers.

And if anything, I'd like to point out that if Edge gave Mario Galaxy a 10, it just shows their inconsistency with scoring even more.

I agree that they are extremely inconsistent. However, this talk of them being Nintendo haters, of them having some sort of agenda against the game, is quite frankly ridiculous. I suppose they must also hate the HD consoles: Killzone 2 is a 7, Halo Wars is a 7, BioShock, Fallout 3, A Crack in Time, 7. It would be helpful if everyone realised that an Edge 7 means that it is of average quality for a popular game this gen, ie an 8.5 or so from IGN. So, in fact, they don't hate, or even dislike any of these games. A 10 from Edge is reserved for highly innovative/extremely hyped games (GTA4, Halo 3, LBP), which is why MGS4 not getting a 10 is quite surprising.

One annoying trait of many Wii fans is their tendency to discount reviewers...and then forget that they did so. IGN gives Wii Music a 5, they are awful, Nintendo-hating, graphic whore reviewers. But wait, they gave The Conduit an 8.6, they are now the best reviewers in the world and the only ones that understand the Wii!

Next year, when Zelda Wii gets a 10 and Metroid: Other M gets a 9, how many people are going to remember that Edge are evil Nintendo haters because they gave NSMBWii a 7?
