Dantes Inferno takes much from God of war and Devil may cry, but it doesn't mean it ain't awesome.

You went to hell and had to climb out!!! What is that other than hell. In CoO you kill Chairon, the oarsman over the River Stix. It is just they have different hells

I'm not to wildly hyped by either of them. But if I had to buy one of them it would probably be GoW III. I was just put off by some of the stuff that EA pulled to get the game recognized
