yo man, u can't compare Uncharted 1 to Uncharted 2. My feelings are almost the same as urs about Uncharted 1. It's a good game, but to me something in the gameplay is missing. The story and almost everything else is awesome though, so I have come to love it now after several playthroughs, but it still didn't completely blow me away like I wanted. Uncharted 2 steps everything up from Uncharted 1 though, including gameplay-it's smoother, there's more weapons, better and less annoying enemies, etc. Hope you give Uncharted 2 a try! Epic game, and the multiplayer has me, a non-multiplayer guy, hooked.
on topic: this truly is a really hard question. RE4 truly was epic and without a doubt the best in the series (including RE5, which was actually probably only disappointing to me bc of the expectations set by RE4). after I played it several years ago i remember telling ppl it was one of the, if not the, best games i had ever played. now though, i consider Uncharted 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 the best 2 games i've ever played with inFAMOUS in third. so i would probably have to say Uncharted 2 in the end. Uncharted 2 is so much like a movie that i've truly come to love the characters (well, mainly just Drake, Elena<3 haha, and Sully), and that really makes a difference. RE4 is definitely a masterpiece and an unbelievable game, though. Definitely took the video game world by storm in it's time.
