I was reading a Foreign Policy paper for this big research project i'm working on for my International Relations Theory class, when i spotted a word that was pretty low on the list of words i expected to see in the course of my research, MILF. Curious, i tracked it down the page further, and discovered this group: The Moro Islamic Liberation Front

A rather vicious group, operating out of Mindanao in the Philippines. I wonder if anyone's ever told them about the acronym's American English meaning, though i imagine the actual acronym for MILF doesn't quite fit together in Tagalog

The first half of the class related in the major schools of thought (Realist, Liberal, Constructivist, Marxist, Post-Modernist, Feminist, and the English School), though now we actually have to write a big paper, and the class has turned more towards a general class on "how to properly write a scholarly paper."

It's really chewing up my free time.
