8.5 Presentation
Great art design. The package is laser-focused on quickly getting you into the music. Menus can be a little clumsy, though.
8.5 Graphics
Though you may not notice while playing, the dynamic camera swoops and edits make for a very nice visual complement to the music.
10 Sound
Hands down the best soundtrack for any music game, ever. They didn't just license a bunch of songs -- they crafted great new mash-ups from an enormous variety of material.
9.0 Gameplay
Most people think scratching a record looks like fun. Now's your chance to find out just how fun it is. This is a simplified music game that is easy to jump into but will take a ninja to master.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
More songs than Guitar Hero 5 and loads to unlock. DLC is coming, too. The guitar/turntable tracks are fun, but head-to-head turntable battles need some work.

IGNs been too kind lately =s . they made me go and play Brutal legend, but didn't find it THAT good. same as other games they rated high since then.

Any game with Queen, Daft Punk, The Killers and Gorillaz can't NOT be AAA.

IGN giving a 9 to a game for which they have exclusive rights, surrounded by sponsored Hero related banners (musichub.ign.com ... lol). Nope, that's not suspicious at all.
