Wow... what was the point of that?  Actually I know far more married with kids individuals that have Xbox 360's than PS3's.  The Xbox has more family friendly entertainment and is cheaper.

Absolutely not. I'm very content with XBL and even paying $50 a year for it. I don't even use netflix on the 360 so why that would change anything is beyond me or for most if they did use Netflix on the 360.

I don't think there was any real point of that, just giving you interesting info about his friends and which friends own what.  No real reason to get offended by it.

Why would someone cancel their gold membership on account of a different system getting Netflix? This just effects those who own both systems, and who also subscribe to xbl gold for netflix only.

Yep an optional service that very few people have is going to make them rise up and stop paying for Live.
