Forums - Sony - Who reserved their PS3 Netflix disc?

It does kind of suck that you have to pay $8 on PS3, and then XBL costs $4 (I don't know). Does this do anything the 360 can't?

It doesn't matter for me anyway, because none of this affects the UK. I am more interested in the Play TV update which claims means it can get HD channels.. which it doesn't seem able to do

that supports BD live

Really?  I don't know that I would ever use that as my 360 and Blu-Ray player (and PS3 for that matter) are all on same TV, but somehow I find that extremely interesting!

wait so its 12,000 blu ray titles

or just 12,000 titles

the titles are not HD, netflix does not stream HD

Is there a $4 option for the 360? I have the $10 dollar or so variant (1 disc at a time, Blu-Ray upgrade), and I thought that was the cheapest (-blu-ray of course) that had streaming.

good for NA users.

i highly doubt i would sucscribe to this deal though if it ever came over here.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I signed up for mine. I'm kind of curious though whether the disc is going to have to be constantly spinning in the drive, or if it will just spin to load a software package and then turn the drive off. I may land up using it less if the drive has to be constantly spinning. I'm sure I'm just being over paranoid, but I do have a launch unit. I'm becoming a bit afraid of it crapping out on me one day.

PSN: GripnRip

Always up to game.

Hah. Well I think $8 is a very good deal. Think about it, blu-ray movies go from anywhere from $20-30, so if u even watch 1 movie a month, you would make a profit, or u wont have to pay as much. And its unlimited

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

Isn't it just part of XBL Gold, which costs $4 per month, I am told

So you just pay for Live and then you get netflix free? Or Live and then netflix?

Also this working on all Bluray players sounds good for people with neither.
