If you love Mario then it's a no brainer :P Wii is the biggest Mario console ever :P

New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Mario Kart Wii
Super Paper Mario

They're/will be the top Mario games on Wii.

i want 10 games for ps3 in 2010 so ps3 library really suits well but if i had Wii i wouldn 't have games like SuperSmash brother brawl but games like Dragon Quest X


I say jump on the wii wagon if you want the games on wii more than a the ps3 ones

Hmm... well, given that neither the PS3 nor the Wii are exactly swimming in JRPGs, but the fair number that both have (out and coming) does make them a good complement to each other. Yes, take a look at Soriku's link, and determine if there are enough that interest you. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you missed some of the classics of the older systems, that just helps to push it even further toward being a good decision. I'd start with things like Secret of Mana or Phantasy Star 4 in that vein.

To those saying DS, yes, that is also a good choice, but I would recommend that to an RPG fan who has no other system. The sheer number of RPGs on the DS makes it expensive to have with another system; I know this all too well. (Not to mention that there's some junk to weed out.)

I don't think you can go wrong with any console at the mo. Next year will be great for all three. If you like JRPG's then PS3 and Wii libraries will go together well imo. And since you like Mario it's actually a no-brainer.

But why the Xbox-hate?
