I do know alot, and I'm correct the vast majority of times. If you are trying so hard to discredit me, maybe you should challenge what I say with well thought arguments, rather than just insulting without adding anything with substance.

Over 186k people have signed the petition against the removal of dedicated servers in MW2!!! It will definitely reach 200k somewhere in the next 2 weeks.

I submit that PC gamers should NOT sign this petition.
If you want to sign a petition against someone, sign it against a multiplat that isn't getting equal billing on PC. There are a ton of high profile games that are getting delayed only on PC because of the stigmitization that piracy affects sales.
You should buy this game.
Because, when you buy software, it makes your platform stronger. When you don't buy it, or when you pirate it, and especially when you boycott it, it doesn't change the mind of someone as successful as Infinity Ward. Worst case scenerio, it pisses them off. I'd guess that if PC gaming pissed off Infinity Ward, the next MW would be released on PC months after its console release. What do you think that would do to PC gaming, in the eyes of console gamers. There are already many high budget console type games doing this.

I think you are incorrect for many reasons, two of the more promenent ones being:
1) Supporting software that does not live up to your expectations is always bad business. It does not encourage publishers to give you what you want, it tells them that they were correct in doing what they did. As to whether or not they (publishers/devs) are pleasing the consumers in adequit fashion, at the end of the day, the metric they use to judge this by is sales. Dishing out $$ for crap is counterproductive in regards to getting the games you want made, made. If IW does not support PC in the future, I , and many others could now care less - if they are going to simply release crap like MW2.
2) People who were gung-ho about MW2 on PC to spend money to upgrade their PC to play MW2 (and thus supporting platform ie: increasing install base) are typically the ones most disheartened by the changes IW has made. It is not just the dedicated server issue, but a whole host of issues on how they are making PC version exactly like console, especially the FOV lock.
There are plenty of good FPS on PC out there that are worthy of our $$, MW2 is not one of them. Giving your $$ to a smaller less marketed franchise , is a better bet. There are smaller games that are worthy of at least a look, that do not have the marketing budget... why not give that a shot instead of lining IW's pockets simply because MW2 has a lot of "hype" ?
IW have said there will not be a demo for MW2. With changes this big, and likely to fail, there is no reason for any discerning person to simply fork over their $$ based on IW saying "trust us, MW2 isnt like MW1... but we say its good even though you cant test drive our new system.
PC gaming is on the rise again , there is a reason IW spent money to try and implement a system like this. They honestly think it is good. The problem is, they are mistaken. Despite random one-liners spouted by all sides of the "PC debate", piracy claims, etc... overall PC software sales mostly revolve around the same metric console sales do - install base. Istall base for "current gen" PCs follows roughly a similar pattern as that for consoles, new stuff comes out - it takes time to get in the hands of enough people to make an impact. PC for a period of several years had a downturn largely because hardware mfgs kept peddling high priced crap that wasnt much better than their previous high priced crap, and the low priced crap was to shitty to soundly provide an advantage over an xbox360 which pioneered some decent features that catered well to large segments of the console crowd. I mean, FFS I remember it ook over a year for shitty full-priced Nvidia GeForce FX class video cards to wind their way out of Best Buy even after 6600 and 6800's were out as one small example, without even getting in to how long the shitty p4 processesor generation lasted , and dominated the install base.
The last "big" PC generation was the ATI 9800 generation. Between the ATI 9800 and Nvidia 8800GT generation there was a big period of suck, in regards to incremental performance, pricing, crappy CPU generations etc... the install base of "current gen" PC hardware suffered for a good period of time, and sales of some types of PC games sufferd as a result. This era was largely mired in consumer confusion, high prices, and often poor performance due to one bottleneck or another on a random persons machine, unless they were spending the big $$.
However, we are now in the generation of the 8800/C2Duo... which is and will continue to be a stable PC platform with longevity, now boasts an enormous install base, and publishers have a large performace target to hit that is still superior to what current gen consoles can produce. There is a reason EA has started shifting back towards PC in their efforts, its because they have actually gained some foresight. IW and Acti lack this, and will suffer for it accordingly over the next 3 years. This is a bad move on IW part, and the re-emergent PC fanbase will punish them - it wont be IW that punishes the PC base if we do not cater to their BS.
