Why do any of you even bother talking to Shio? That guy knows absolutely nothing about PC gaming. I've been playing on both PC and consoles since before that guy was even born. Plus, MW2 is going to sell like crazy on all 3 platforms so all of this crap is moot...

I do know alot, and I'm correct the vast majority of times. If you are trying so hard to discredit me, maybe you should challenge what I say with well thought arguments, rather than just insulting without adding anything with substance.

-------------------

Over 186k people have signed the petition against the removal of dedicated servers in MW2!!! It will definitely reach 200k somewhere in the next 2 weeks.

I don't think you are correct most of the time. Most of the PC gamers I talk to on this forum absolutely lambast me for grouping their arguments in with yours when I go on my talking point rant. You do believe you are right though, and that's enough to make any opinion valid.

Anyway, lol, why are we talking about you? Let's get to your argument.

I submit that PC gamers should NOT sign this petition.

If you want to sign a petition against someone, sign it against a multiplat that isn't getting equal billing on PC. There are a ton of high profile games that are getting delayed only on PC because of the stigmitization that piracy affects sales.

You should buy this game.

Because, when you buy software, it makes your platform stronger. When you don't buy it, or when you pirate it, and especially when you boycott it, it doesn't change the mind of someone as successful as Infinity Ward. Worst case scenerio, it pisses them off. I'd guess that if PC gaming pissed off Infinity Ward, the next MW would be released on PC months after its console release. What do you think that would do to PC gaming, in the eyes of console gamers. There are already many high budget console type games doing this.

Let me phrase it this way....if MW2 was released on 360 and PC tuesday, and on the PS3 a year from now....do you think that would negatively impact the PS3? Granted, this is a console heavy forum, but we can't set double standards for megatons.

Truth is, this game will probably be great, and not buying it out of spite, or because you believe the petition might change something, only hurts your gaming fun, and your platform. It doesn't hurt Infinity Ward, they don't care, they are a very rude and cocky developer who also happens to be very good, and they know it. They MADE the biggest franchise in gaming what it is today, and they dont' care if a small niche of internet fans get pissed off.

It probably helps more than it hurts, for console sales. Raising the console to PC sold ratio, and achieving viral marketing and hype for the game.

imho

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
