Forums - Gaming - Gamespot gives Borderlands 8.5 for xbox360 and 8.0 for ps3!

after i played the 360 version i found a bug in the game! sometimes after you kill an enemy the items disappear directly when it touches the ground !? i dont know if this is a common bug or not. anyone have the same problem ?

Xbox360 is superior to PS3 confirmed.

Bayonetta rated higher on Xbox360, too.

since the bug on the ps3 was fixed immediately, the only gripe for the ps3 is that it doesn't support two profiles playing at the same time, especially during split-screen.

They did the same to Fallout 3 I think.
Anyway good score

Lol. I am pretty sure the so called 'problem' on the PS3 isn't a problem at all.

are people buying this though

I mean Dragon Age is coming soon & so is MW2

Borderlands is the mix of the above in a way

Eh, I hope they fix these online issues with a path.

I think I remember Gamespot once saying they have an "straight out of the box" review policy, for the sake of gamers who can't patch. I haven't read it in a long time, but if so, that's what you should be arguing against, as it seems outdated. Going along with that a lower score is fair.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Unfortunately that's they way reviews work in this industry...they have to review the copy they are given, bugs and all, even if the game is updated/fixed the next day from when their review is posted,. Some sites do small updates at the end of the original article to let everyone know it's fixed, but the original score remains the same.

that sounds reasonable!

but in this case, if they can't patch, they won't be able to play online either :D

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
