Odd, I had honestly expected it to repeat the first game and do better in PAL than in North America. oO

Look at Uncharted: Drake's Fortune's week 1 sales:

133, 883.

Now, with that said, the game is sitting at 2.5mill WW and WAS NOT a system seller initially either. The sequel is sitting at 97 right now, IS a system seller, and is the5th fastest selling PS3 game of ALL TIME, something the original couldn't HOPE to do. I'd say the game is a MASSIVE success and Sony/Naughty Dog should be quite proud!

Edit: I see your latest post GOW, ignore this point, it's meant for anyone else claiming the sales are "disappointing".

No problem It's ranking up there with the mega franchises Metal Gear Solid, GTA, Resident Evil, FIFA and it deserves it. I wasn't expecting a 40K increase in PS3 sales because of it either.

Remember this isnt a full weeks worth of sales from every region.

Next week should see it at ~250-300k somewhere. And it will likely be at the top of most PS3 buyers lists over Christmas with all the perfect reviews its gaining and the amount of advertising Sony are throwing at it.

I'd say 2 Million is still in the books.

@Carl, there is no reason for anyone to come up with  an excuse after selling 800k on the first being a ps3 exclusive.

The only reason some of us expected a million or more is because ioi kept saying it in his previews. Excellent sales, it will have great legs especially in Others.

I predicted 500k but hoped for a million. Still with only 2 days of others in it pretty much falls in line with expectations.

It was sold out at my local Gamestop if that gives you guys any consolation.

Very good compared to first one.

Though, Uncharted 2 is a game, that everyone should play.
But, so far, it is very likely, that Uncharted 2 will have Gears of War level sales.
5 mln.+ LTD here we come.
