I don't think the people with PS3 sigs ever said you had an requirement to care...

Honestly, it's their sigs, their private space, let them do whatever they want to. If you don't want to be "forced" to see something in other people's sigs we would have to take away the option of sigs. If you don't want to see any PS3s at all, lets just ban pictures. If you don't want to hear people talking about PS3s, lets just shut down the forum. If you don't want to hear differing opinions, you should just shut down all your senses and become nothing.

OMG I'm so sorry >.<

much better lol

Maybe some people want more people to enjoy the system of their choice and by putting the add their they hope some more people will buy it. I posted on facebook when the ps3 went to 299 not because I just felt like advertising for sony or some loyalty but because I want my friends to get ps3s so I can play games with them

you mean my sig?

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

you need more prices in your sig darth, get with the times. We are now corporate slaves under control by the main brain Sir Howard

Why shouldn't we promote the things we like? We want people to enjoy the things we like. If that means participating in word of mouth marketing, then so be it.

Maybe it's only the ps3 fans on this site because we are passionate about our gaming and a 300$ PS3 is one of the biggest advancements for gaming this year beside game announcements.

There is no difference showing a game announcement, or a console's advertisement.

Shoot, I love my Jeep Commander, but I don't put a pic of it in my sig.

Seriously, I just ROTFL when I see a PS3 'It does everything' in a sig. I shake my head. I can just imagine that person talking to a girl - hey, wanna swing by MY PAD and play some Little Big Planet, Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2 with me? Yeah, I got a slick PS3, baby. You need to check it out.'

The only console I'd consider putting into my sig is the Wii. I have yet to see a system get women excited to talk about it. Give a hot soccer mom a compliment, she may say thanks. Talk into your Bluetooth about a Wii and she'll stop you and talk your head off. Trust me - it's one of the new ways to break the ice with the ladies now.

Some fans are way more devoted to their console than other owners are. That's their opinion.

And J, we ARE on a gaming site, so ...

I don't see a link between your signature on a gaming forum and talking to girls.

If we were on a car forum, having a Jeep Commander in your sig would be perfectly normal. Even now, nobody's stopping you. Go ahead and put it in! I don't see why anyone should judge you for it.

What I am saying is - you care about your gaming system - and feel the need to tout how awesome it is. Don't get mad when the world doesn't agree with you - and its awesomeness. That is what I am trying to say.

The average babe may tell you what a Playstation does but doesn't really care about it. But folks so doggone devoted to the PS3 cause, especially putting an ad in their sig, thinks the world will change and graduate to the PS3. Uh, yeah. They care - a few others care - but the vast majority of us don't, IMHO.

So what you're saying is that because you like a game system, and you want to have it in your signature on a gaming forum on the internet with people you don't know, you are automatically obsessed with that game system, and it's your entire life, and if you meet anyone who doesn't like it, you'll throw them off a cliff?
