No, there are plenty of great games that haven't come out yet. Ask this question again once Zelda Wii comes out. By then, we will probably be in the twilight of the generation.

Zelda Wii won't release until Q4 2010 at the earliest.  It could come in 2011.  Right now, I expect this generation to end in 2012.  That would be 1-2 year 'twilight'.  Notice how I said 'ask again once Zelda Wii comes out'.  There could be another big game announced by then, which would delay the 'twilight' period in my eyes.

okay , i think no , if the consoles feel old and outdated then yes, currently none are taking steps back except the Wii, which im sure will be upgraded to Wii HD, so still no.

lots of big games still didn't release Final fantasy is one of them.

I don't know.  It may never exist.  But it is too far in the future to rule out just yet.  Epic Mickey came out of nowhere and surprised everyone.  Who's to say that won't happen again in the next three years or so?

2010 will be the last great wave, though we should see some good spillover into 2011 (Pikmin 3, Dragon Quest X, Fable 3, FF Vs XIII)

 

Those hoping for an extra-long generation are going to be disappointed.

atleast someone agreeing with me, just remember that even MS consider Natal as a new console so they marketing the project as like a new console launch. You all can make opinions all you want that this generation isnt ending, but from factual observations it seems its not like that way.
