I know you weren't and as I said, I was trying to challange you and others to rethink your argument that paying for life is a crime because you already pay for your internet connection. using online serivces that you have to pay for are no differant than XBL. I'm with you on not paying for as little as possible, and i get where you are coming from, But your argument was flawed, and I was pointing that out. I appologise if you think I was trying to make you look bad, my intententions were pure.

But hey, one last thing, it's really shitty of porn sites to charge you for watching porn when free sites like slutload exist...and it's really shitty of video streaming services to charge you when you can watch the movie free on numerous sites like Megavideo...c'mon man, at least have consistancy!

To be honest, the only real online gaming I have ever done in my life was on Diablo 2, mainly because Battle.net was free. There was also Guild Wars, but that lasted maybe 6 months at best.

If I ever game online now, it is either Guitar Hero/Rock Band very rarely or LittleBigPlanet and Demon's Souls, since both are always connected.

I would game online again, for free of course, only when Diablo III releases. If ActiBlizzard decides to charge for D3 online, I will skip the game entirely, as much as that would truly upset the shit out of me.

I refuse to pay for online. My $60/month online bill is enough as it is.

It means I pay for Optimum Online and other than that, I wouldn't pay for anything else. I have Triple Play package so to be honest I am not entirely sure on what the cost is, but Internet + TV + Phone = $170/month. It hurts after a while. I honestly have MUCH better things to spend my money on now than video game online gaming that should be completely free.

I would not pay for it. I'm a 16 year old student athlete who works weekends only. There's not much I can spend after I pay for gas and food. So, it just makes me appreciate the free services that much more.
