You also have your rock band and guitar hero collections to chose from along with mini-game collections like Rayman Raving Rabbids. Also, I'll throw this out there since it is for school, you can get Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree, as I found that to be a lot of fun with my wife, but who knows if they'll like it or not.

No More Heroes (my favorite Wii game). Wii Sports Resort is fun too and the Wii motion plus is very precise.

Don't forget "de Blob", "Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn" and "Dead Space: Extraction"

thanks guys.the thing is that I´m located in Costa Rica so it is a bit more difficult to find a great variety of games. but I´ll get okami, wsr, wii fit for sure thanks for the advice.

In addition to nordlead's excellent suggestions, I recommend looking into WiiWare titles like Bomberman Blast and Target Toss Pro: Bags.

I own brawl. Doesn't mean the school does. It is funny cause I don't even own a wii...yet, but I have a couple of games for it. Right now I am borrowing a friend's.

Yes Brawl is a must because so far that is all that we have been playing.
I was thinking wii play, Sports Resort, Mario Kart, and Brawl. So it is good to see suggestions that I didn't think of. I didn't even think of wiiware or virtual console as an option, good call. Streets of Rage and golden Ax that would be some epic Virtual Console games to get.

Anyone got any good Lightgun shooter suggestions. I know some students enjoy Resident Evil 5 Co-op.

From what I can see, no one has mention Elebits! Very good game, not as good as some but an amazing game especially for a launch title.
