I was considering buying a Wii. But frankly I have no interest in the upcoming games and Only a few titles in the entire library interest me.

Maybe when the console is $99 I'll consider picking one up.

I am a big fan of nintendo and the wii but all the recent releases apart from WSR failed to interest me.

At my neighbours I played HOTD, the conduit and some others I can't remember but I found nothing in the games to convince to buy them for myself.

Yet I find COD:Waw really enjoyable with the wii remote and actual play it far more on the wii than the PS3.

I am guessing you own a PS3/x360 from your avatar so expect the wii to be an all together different beast with very few multiplat games, but I guess you already knew that.

If you want something totally different from what the HD consoles can provide then get the wii.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

Course there is. There's gotta be at least a couple more years before the next consoles come out. And theres a couple new Mario games coming out for Wii.
