Forums - Nintendo - The vgchartz ranking game--The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes!

6/10 That said, I guess I'm going to have to justify my answer.

The beginning was slow. I didn't really care much for the whole farm town setting. Saving the kids was a bore as well.

The game was really bland and terribly repetitive at parts. The enemies were the same "hit two times and it dies" routine. Nothing new.

The boss fights were terrible. I was expecting at least a little challenge. Finding out a pattern and hitting 3 rounds worth was far below expectations.

The wolf thing. That gimmick got rather old. At first, I was excited- I got to use a wolf, after about the goron level I was sick of having to turn into it without being seen and whatnot.

The controls on the wii were iffy at times. I preferred the game on the gamecube.

The actual story was meh. The ending was decent with the whole surprise boss plot twist, but all the while I was thinking the people mention zelda few and far between.

The Zora kid's story was depressing. Like wtf. he's visiting his moms grave all alone

So for all of those reasons, I give it a 6 out of 10

I didn't give as low of a score and looking back now, I probably should have went with my gut instinct and not feared the horde, giving it a 7.5.

Anyways, I pretty much whole heartedly agree with your entire post.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Great game, didn't stop playing until I beat it... Even for sleep.

10 one of the best games ever made.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Oh wow what to say about Twilight Princess. Not only one of the best games of this generation but easily one of the best ever made. Had an amazing epic adventure with a storyline that kept you coming back. Graphically it was one of the most atmospheric and captivating games I've played ever and still is today. Gameplay was flawless as usual for a Zelda game and the game kept you coming back to more as it was easily one of the longest Zelda games.

Is it without flaw? Well it does have it's downsides. Music wise, it didn't quite stand up there with the other Zelda games although it did have some beautiful tunes. And really that is probably my only complaint with the game. It's possible you could say it isn't that much different from other Zelda games but why make that argument if it is still one of the best setups in gaming. No one tells Master Chief to put the gun away so why stop Link.

Overall this game is a masterpiece and one of the best 3D Zelda games ever made. There isn't much in Zelda let alone the gaming industry that can stand up with this game.

9.8/10

Care to elaborate more on your opinion that a Zelda game has terrible gameplay? That's one of the oddest things i've ever heard.

I agree with the bad gameplay actually. It really was bad. The controls with the Wii remote were just plain not responsive.

Tell that to Rol. He is on his 11th playthrough.

I played it 3 times myself, and i never experienced the issues that you are.

Well I guess you don't mind bad controls...

You realize that the game is also available on the Gamecube, with a completely different controller, right, and thus, you are flaming the game for a problem that doesn't exist in many versions of it.

I mind bad controls, but not as much as bad posts with arrogant opinions presented in a flamboyant and offensive way.

Those really make me focus in on one guy for about a week.

9.2, It was better than OoT, but that is about it in terms of 3D Zelda games. Both Windwaker and the best of the series, Majora's Mask, are better.

Wow I'm not flaming the game at all. Very bad post you have here.
