Yay! Let's spit out meaningless nonsense, everyone!

If you look at the sales for the recent period, the X360 is generally down 20-30%, and the Ps3 is up 20-30%.

If this trend holds, we're looking at 4.5 million Ps3 sales and 3.7 million X360 sales. That's if they're both 30%, though.

Looking at last week's sales, that's a 60% more sales for the Ps3 than the X360. That would make it 3.5 vs 5.6 million. I sort of see that as the worst case scenario for the X360, as the Ps3's advantage from the pricecut is likely to fall off a bit.

I see the X360's worst case scenario as a gap of around 5 million.

 

I'd say a 5-6 million gap seems likely.

4-4.5 million. I expect slim sales to explode this holiday, especially in Japan.

Slim has closed the gap by 1 million in a month and a half...Christmas is where it's at though!

obviously not 5.. PS3 will lead WW sales in Holiday season and it already closed the gap by 1million in 1.5 month.. there is still 2.5 month left till end of year and theyre the most important ones.. I say 4-5mil

They dont have holidays in Japan I think :P but FFXIII will assure great HW sales for PS3 in Japan

Some people still celebrate over there. The main thing though...December 17th. Judgment day.

hum ... I have to think about it ...

I m wondering about FM3 bundle, CoD4 bundle, price drop on the 360 side.

... I m just hoping the best for the PS3 and the worst for the 360 like always.

Perhaps I will even buy a PS3 ... (let's first finish Half life 2)
