If you look at the sales for the recent period, the X360 is generally down 20-30%, and the Ps3 is up 20-30%.
If this trend holds, we're looking at 4.5 million Ps3 sales and 3.7 million X360 sales. That's if they're both 30%, though.
Looking at last week's sales, that's a 60% more sales for the Ps3 than the X360. That would make it 3.5 vs 5.6 million. I sort of see that as the worst case scenario for the X360, as the Ps3's advantage from the pricecut is likely to fall off a bit.
I see the X360's worst case scenario as a gap of around 5 million.
I'd say a 5-6 million gap seems likely.
