I'll be adding your figures to the spreadsheet sometime tomorrow, so you can freely edit them until then, but once I add them to it I have decided on letting you have 2 edits.

Of course it is best to wait until after the next weeks figures are posted to get a better picture... and should enable you to get a very accurate week 1 for all consoles.

As said in the OP, you can predict, or edit predictions up until late night (GMT) November 1st.... but I would suggest sending a final edit before that time (Friday 30th/Saturday 31st) as I don't want to be bogged down by lots of you doing so.

Those asking about high/low weeks... obviously week 5 will see a big boost due to Black Friday.... the final 3 weeks should be roughly similar to last year given there is only 1 day difference.... which means week 8 should see the largest sales for each console, however the step back by a day should see week 9 closer to week 8 than last year.

All this is my opinion of course.... another point to this thread is to discuss things like this, so if you have a different opinion then voice it.

Personally I think everyone is underestimating the Wii quite a bit... particularly now that week -1 results are in (week -1 being the week before week 0, which is before week 1 ) and it has increased over the previous week.

Meh, i have week 9 > week 8 across all mine.

Yeah with the wii's last week adjusted up and even going up for this week I think I'll have to up the wii numbers quite a bit.

I think even I will have to adjust them up as little bit... I think it may not be too far off matching last year (maybe a 10-15% drop) but I am going to wait a week before changing anyway... more info is always good.

@Carl... well it's your call, I mean the handhelds in particular seemed to have pretty close weeks for 8 and 9 last year, so being stepped back another day this year they could have a week 9 higher than week 8..... The consoles, and particularly the Wii, saw bigger drops from week 8 to week 9, though the Wii may have been a supply problem back then, something I doubt it will have again this Christmas (at least not to that extent)

So week 5 is black friday, it change most of my numbers. And Wii will have a great Christmas.. interesting, i will update my prediction after next week numbers

Well, I believe it (Wii) will do a lot better than most of the current predictions for sure,... but you don't have to agree with me.

And yes, Black Friday lands in week 5, same as it did last year.
