1 MW2 comes out on the 3rd week not 2nd to bad carl, darkjonnyx, Noobie and dmj who have there 3rd weeks lower for the HDs

2 @ twroo why did u fail to tell us about the DSI LL launch in japan? that should cause a boost in HW sales look at last year wen the dsi came out in japan only ww went from like 360kish to 580kish

i know u got alot to do twroo but you should put more effort in ur tips section like i do in my threads

regardless i think handhelds should not of been included or have them separate so theres 2 winners

oh by the way twroo good luck with the thread like the proof said ur gonna need it thats a hell of alot of work u got to do if ur going to update it every week

@BHR-3 DSi LL wasn't announced until after this thread was started, I guess that is why nobody mentioned it.

The tips section was always a work in progress.... I asked from the get-go for people to correct my mistakes or ask me to add events if I have forgotten them. If I had put something wrong there you should have told me as soon as you could.

@1. That was an error I would have liked corrected.... not witheld from me.... I even said to you about 1 page back: "if I have done something very misleading then tell me about it now so I can correct it (ignoring my actual figures), but people should be making their own predictions anyway not copying mine"

@2. Sorry I forgot about it, I don't follow DS news so closely and didn't even realise it was releasing this year.

Don't count on that mil christmas week bhr. Remember that the slim is fairly new and tretton said that they might see shortages. After a huge black friday (which I expect), it's going to be low the enxt week, then really high, then only slightly higher xmas week

I would also like to say thanks to twroo. Thanks for hosting this again as I know it is a lot of work.

I'd also like to comment on PS3 going over a million. Not too many systems in history have gone over 1 million in one week so to really think it'd be able to do it is a long stretch. But the boosts in Japan it'll get during the 8th week may cause it to happen. I obviously don't see it happening but it's not completely implausible. But just note it's not something that is guaranteed as it is something that doesn't happen to often (aside from top brands of course... and even them only happen during that certain time of the year).

yeah I agree with you

but the thing is that over the last 2 months PS3 has shocked & awed us with its numbers, maybe some people int hat mindset got a little hyper & made that leap

I mean even I predicted 900K for the top week but looking at last years sales in the same week, expecting increases in EU/NA & a 100K + increase in Japan, 900K seemed realistic
