Maybe Malstrom was right when he said Miyamoto needs to retire?
I think it looks fantastic. If you're not satisfied you could go with the collector's edition or just make your own spine if you have a printer and photoshop.

Hope you've been keeping up with your ninja skills, buddy!
@ WessleWoggle: Lol! wtf.
@mortorno: There is a collectors edition? I would photoshop it... but.. it would end up being shittier anyway. I am going to have to live with red unless they come out with a version that is white, and I don't see why they would.

They prefer to be called special.

That thing. It doesn't have white on the side, but has pictures of neat things.
I could do some photoshopping of this once it comes out.
Well i think the reason for making the spine red is not so much having it stand out in your collection, rather having it stand out on the store shelves. In this regard I think it's a very good idea.
You'll get over it. I have 285 NES cartridges, and most of them are grey, but I have black games by Tengen, blue games by Color Dreams, the black Bible games by Wisdom Tree, and even a blue cartridge by Wisdom Tree from right after they changed their name but still used their old Color Dreams cartridges (game sticker says Bible Adventures by Wisdom Tree, but the cart back says it's by Color Dreams, lulz), the see-through Action 52 cartridge, the ugly silver Quattro Arcade games, the gold Zelda games, some really ugly black cartridge by American Video Entertainment, and even a black cartridge of Double Dragon III beccause I bought it used and some dumb kid colored the whole game black with a marker. Some days they look like ugly blemishes in the collection, and others they look like tasty sprinkles in a delicious collection.
I am collecting NES games too. All my favorites are in boxes (check my photos), and then I have all my loose cartridges. I don't plan on buying tengen and wisdom tree games. lol. I hate how they look different; its bullshit.
