In a discussion that is 'offtoping' this thread some members discussed which console has the more exclusives removing from the 360 catalogue the "exclusives" that are also available on PC.

This matter moves many discussions, but that's not the thread point. The point is that assuming that a true exclusive can only be available in one platform let's built up the exclusive list for this gen home consoles.

RULES:

- The Wii is out of this because it has the most true exclusives, this is between PS3 and 360;

- It only counts if the game is ONLY available in one platform (not company);

       Example: Left4Dead doesn't count because it is also available on PC, despite microsoft being the owner of both platforms

- It counts if the game in question is available for a portable IF IT IS DIFFERENT;

       Example: LBP for PSP and Viva Piñata on the DS and both titles available on PS3 and 360, respectively and they count because the portable editions are unique versions of the game.

- Only DVD and BD games current gen games. XBLA, XNA and PSN games are outta this;

- It counts games that are yet to release, if they are announced to PC, they're removed.

- Unannounced known projects doesn't count, such as "twisted metal PS3" and "EPIC Games 300 online MMO FPS battle shooter for 360"

== Help me to build the list, I'll update it regularly if I'm not banned, or a Pionner Tail Piano falls over me or if my leuchemic cat doesn't pass out ==

No, that isn't correct.  You can handpick things this way.  For example:

1. Why do you say a game is exclusive if it is also on handhelds, but then also say it isn't, because it is on PCs?  Unless you are talking something like Age of Empires, which was on the DS, but a different game, then why?  Why are handhelds unique beasts, but PCs aren't?  The PC gaming market is ane entirely different market.  So, I would say either you go real exclusive, or you don't do this.  Don't play half and half here.

2. In my copy of MGS4, I got Metal Gear Online also.  Have they change this?  I would count "Orange Box" as one title, as I would with with Metal Gear.  Same with Left 4 Dead.

3. Also I wouldn't count expansion packs, but I would count games that are downloadable via a network.

I would also add God of War collections to the ps3 list.

That is a rehash of PS2 titles.  Why should it count?

PC/360 games are not exclusive by definition.

From now on MS shouldn't bother porting their first-party games on the PC. Because PS3-only owners can just get a gaming rig and pirate games to hell without giving Microsoft (if it's a MS-published game), other publishers and the developers a penny. And considering how poorly PC versions do compared to console versions in sales, I wouldn't be surprised. All this talk about gaming rigs online and yet the PC game sales don't reflect the user base you see online. Piracy is a huge thing on the PC front. And MS should rightfully stop giving these pirates freebies. It sucks for legit PC gamers though that they're not gonna get to play Halo 3, Fable 2, Gears 2, etc. but they have plenty of shooters and wrpgs to play anyway so it's not a huge loss for them.

Don't forget final fantasy 13 versus comon man

And also I don't see why you didn't mention the 2 ratchet and clank games :  tools of destruction AND  a crack in time

I guess he gave up on updating? :p I would have too after all them lists flew up. I guess going by Wiki the 360 has about 30ish more exclusives than the PS3, so lets just go with that shall we? It's within some margin of error too, so we can just say 360 has more exclusives than the PS3 and leave it at that rather than trying to specify how many more it has.
