I never said if it is different it is bad. I am just disappointed. Did you not read where I said if they are going to change the series this much, they should cut ties and name the series differently? What I mean is, FF:CC has something I like and expect, and they promised to fulfill those expectations. They have not. This leaves me disappointed, angry, and not willing to spend my money. Multi player as an additional option is NEVER a bad thing. The first game could be played just fine with one player so as I see it, they are taking away features that do not NEED to be taken away. You see, if you thought the game was average, that is your opinion and I accept it. I, on thee other hand, was praising the first game and saying to myself, "man this would have been a lot better without GBA connectivity."

At any rate, this new game for WiiWare could be what I am looking for. I do not just want a single player game. I enjoy playing with my family and maybe this game will allow for that. I hope it does, but should it not, I will not buy it.

They didn't change the series. They moved the multiplayer. It's the same universe, same gameplay ideas (to an extent), and the same staff. All the more welcome for a better game.

Are you serious? My brother does not own a DS. Neither does my daughter or girlfriend. Talk about inconvenient and non-beneficial. Plus it is expensive. This eliminates NONE of the big problems from the first CC game.

ROFFLE.

The gameplay is fleshed out so the battle system doesn't suck. The story is actually developed. The game is more easily accessible for multiplayer. They basically address three of the biggest problems from FFCC right there.

this game does sound very interesting

They must have changed the name from The Young King. See http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=8242. It's supposed to have online co-op.

And hence my request for everyone to stop responding to my rambling. If the game has online co-op, my money is already spent.

You addressed basically nothing I said. There were promises, now broken. There was hope of an awesome game coming to Wii, not happening. You could never tell me that sacrificing the multi player to "focus" on single player is a bad thing. Everything you mention that makes the DS version fun, could be done on Wii. So your points are really negated.

"ROFFLE."

Ha!

"The gameplay is fleshed out so the battle system doesn't suck. The story is actually developed. The game is more easily accessible for multiplayer. They basically address three of the biggest problems from FFCC right there."

Again, about the game play, they could have done all these things for the Wii version and would any of us complained? Nah. Plus, what you are arguing and what I am arguing are different. You want a more fleshed out game, I want one too. You think splitting the series is "beneficial" and I think they could have done everything they did on DS on the Wii version and sacrificed none of thee integrity of the series. The story, game play, battle system, are all opinions of yours I cannot argue. I liked those aspects in the first game. I still see you not addressing the fact that everyone needs to own a DS to play it. In my family, we have one DS. Now, how would this really eliminate the problems at hand? It almost makes the game as expensive as the Gamecube version to play multi player. That issue is huge and it looks like they have not exactly addressed it; rather, moved it to another platform.

Stop trying to argue with me. I know how I feel. I want the game they promised and it even looks like they are going to give it to me. There is no reason to try telling anyone that multi co-op should be rid for the safety of single player. I already said it could not be argued and I remain correct. You are really wasting your time.

@Nick, that's because the little king game, which is a WII Ware game, will head around March 2008, once the WII Ware download service is available. Not sure if the game will be world wide available at the same time, or for Japan around that time. For TCB there's no release date announced or even a period, so therefore its not so surprising they're showing more about the WII Ware game than about TCB.

I see.  Thanks for clearing that up.  For some reason I thought they were suppose to be release around the same time, but didn't think about the regions.  Even so, I'm surprised they're not showing any pics or anything if even for the japanese release.
