"They didn't change the series. They moved the multiplayer. It's the same universe, same gameplay ideas (to an extent), and the same staff. All the more welcome for a better game."
You addressed basically nothing I said. There were promises, now broken. There was hope of an awesome game coming to Wii, not happening. You could never tell me that sacrificing the multi player to "focus" on single player is a bad thing. Everything you mention that makes the DS version fun, could be done on Wii. So your points are really negated.
"ROFFLE."
Ha!
"The gameplay is fleshed out so the battle system doesn't suck. The story is actually developed. The game is more easily accessible for multiplayer. They basically address three of the biggest problems from FFCC right there."
Again, about the game play, they could have done all these things for the Wii version and would any of us complained? Nah. Plus, what you are arguing and what I am arguing are different. You want a more fleshed out game, I want one too. You think splitting the series is "beneficial" and I think they could have done everything they did on DS on the Wii version and sacrificed none of thee integrity of the series. The story, game play, battle system, are all opinions of yours I cannot argue. I liked those aspects in the first game. I still see you not addressing the fact that everyone needs to own a DS to play it. In my family, we have one DS. Now, how would this really eliminate the problems at hand? It almost makes the game as expensive as the Gamecube version to play multi player. That issue is huge and it looks like they have not exactly addressed it; rather, moved it to another platform.
Stop trying to argue with me. I know how I feel. I want the game they promised and it even looks like they are going to give it to me. There is no reason to try telling anyone that multi co-op should be rid for the safety of single player. I already said it could not be argued and I remain correct. You are really wasting your time.
