Well having intellectual and respectful debate is hard to come across no matter which forums you join. But it has especially been atrocious in a lot of the off topic political and religious discussions. I've tried my best to keep those threads civil (even by creating some that have to meet those requirements) but people like to be the opposite of that up there apparently.

It would be nice to be able to have discussions on a civil, logical level but I mean we can't expect that nor enforce it. Gaming threads tend to be just as bad but we can live with it... for the most part. Just don't get mad at me when I deconstruct your arguments to show you what you are doing wrong.

This site has much more grown up discussions than most other sites.

There is a lot of crap on this site that should be modded more strictly but alas it isn't so you're left with 3 options:

1. Leave and don't read the forums again
2. Respond in kind to any and all crusading for justice
3. Accept the idiots on the site and ignore their posts.

I tend to go for 3 most of the time and will only argue or debate with posters that are likely to attempt some sort of logical thought process in their posts. It's really not hard to find them once you spend enough time reading on here.

The first line was aimed at you.  The second paragraph was aimed at the OP.  I read it just fine and didn't notice anything odd until you pointed it out lol.

I could give you both a logical well thought out reason or a delusional SEGA prospinned reason....

I agree, this forum has gotten much worse. Ever since the PS3 fanboy craze, the PS3 fanboy ratio has not only increased, their boldness has gotten much worse. It's not noticable to those not completely in the tank for Sony though. I'm not saying you are, but many are.

Just since Friday, these are only the flamebait threads I've posted in.

Just the last couple of days.

I mean, I'm not complaining, but since it was brought up, this forum was much shittier than 1 year ago, because the forum is leaning towards Sony much more. Of course, that's not just this forum. It's most places on the internet. That console finds ways to be devisive.

I'm sure Sony fanboys find the forums much better than they were a year ago, but that's the magic of perception.

i agree, there seems to be alot more balance now... for a while it seemed like an official sony site

but then again im just usually here checking out sales not the forums so maybe this guys right
