Well having intellectual and respectful debate is hard to come across no matter which forums you join. But it has especially been atrocious in a lot of the off topic political and religious discussions. I've tried my best to keep those threads civil (even by creating some that have to meet those requirements) but people like to be the opposite of that up there apparently.
It would be nice to be able to have discussions on a civil, logical level but I mean we can't expect that nor enforce it. Gaming threads tend to be just as bad but we can live with it... for the most part. Just don't get mad at me when I deconstruct your arguments to show you what you are doing wrong.
