Forums - Nintendo - Wii tops again!

So?

The Wii is more or less the Yankees at this point. I'm not going to be excited when the Yankees win a game. Now when the 360 or PS3 pop up to number 1 it makes me smile.

Well until I see annoying people overreact and suggest that means "their system" is going to stay on top for the long haul.

Actually the Wii is more like the Angels when they won the world series in what was it. 2002?

Nobody expected them to win at all, yet they fought against all the odds and came out with a win.

Sony is like the yankees, throwing all their money to put together the most powerful system at the highest price.

Ms has some characteristics of the yankees as well.

Lack of testosterone? I got a Wii and I would say it's all okay because I got a life with my friends and still doing lot of homeworks...

PS3 too expensive. Xbox360 my friends have so I'll not buy it.

Eh, I can see that in 2006.  But I mean they've won 2-3 years in a row now.

Maybe Boston Redsocks or New England Patriots makes more sense.

Just so were clear males who like the Wii more than other systems are lacking in testosterone levels. HAHA I am totally serious.

Awwww. You poor, lonely baby boy.

Wanna get a hug?

Considering the Wii had no big releases up until Wii Sports Resort, those numbers are impressive. Now I think we have to wait and see if Wii Fit Plus and NSMBWii are going to push hardware sales past last year's holiday levels (it's a tough mountain to climb).

I think Nintendo must come to a realization that long-trail selling games NEED to be released in the first part of the year. This way they build momentum into the holidays, much like Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii did.

Was I wrong to assume that he couldn't possibly be serious with that comment?

I think this is what Nintendo is aiming for with Super Mario Galaxy 2.
