Only €50? So it's pretty cheap to import even from NA. Doesn't your regular new games cost €60 in Italy?

Yep, that's why I basically buy all my games from Amazon UK. It's all in the currency swap rates, nowadays.

Looks like you're going to need a PS3 for it though. |
I'd love to play it, but It's not really a system seller for me
You've got a better chance with Heavy Rain, since SONY's only funding development for that. This on the other hand is a SONY owned IP... It's like asking if we might see Ratchet come to the Wii.

If you want to play it, how about buy a PS3 and not wonder about if it'll come to 360.

ROFLOL...sorry, but I doubt the game is THAT good. With Dragon Age on the way, from a KNOWN commodity and Mass Effect 2 waiting in the wings, a buyer would have to be crazy to spend money to play ONE rpg. Nothing wrong in speculating as to if a game is going multi-console if sales aren't awesome...since several japanese developers cited this as the reason for taking games multi-platform. The 360 has delviered the best results for western styled RPGs this generation, as well as shoorters, so if you aren't porting it to the 360, you're likely loosing more than half of your profits. Now, if Sony owns the IP (which I've yet to see proven) it's a closed case...
I think it's on the 4 or 5 page where it says (C) Sony Computer Entertainment or something like that.
The first and second party stuff is going nowhere. Now the third party exclusive jrpgs/srpgs that are out right now won't be going anywhere either unless the companies think a port is going to be profitable (actually come to think of it, there aren't many though. Just Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3 right? Cross Edge actually got ported in Japan to the 360 just recently though given how it was a critical and sales flop they probably won't bother localizing it) It's much more worth it for companies like Sega to finance Resonance of Fate instead of porting Valkyria Chronicles if they want to crack into the 360 market. And then there's NIS, who are probably too Japan-minded to even consider 360 publishing (and I'd be shocked if they localized Cross Edge Dash on 360 for the original Japanese publisher).

from software isn't a known commodity??
I'm not martin luther king. I don't have a dream. I have a plan
Sell a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish you just ruined a perfect business opportunity.
We didn't emerge out of the stone age because we ran out of stones. Its time to be proactive not reactive.
According my copy of the game, SONY owns Demon's Souls. The game was joint developed by Japan Studio [SCEJ] and FromSoftware.
It's SONY equivalent to Metroid: Another M. Nintendo owns the IP, but Nintendo AND a Third Party co-developing the game.
