lol just no. so 360 gets "THE BEST LOOKIN GAEM EVAH", then ps3 gets "THE BEST LOOKIN GAEM EVAH" 6 months later and then 360 gets "THE BEST LOOKIN GAEM EVAH" and it's all over again.
i can bet that in the next few months we will get multiplatform or 360 exclusive games that will look better than Uncharted 2(we already know that both alpha console versions of Crysis 2 and Rage makes Uncharted 2 look like last gen game) - same thing will be with GoW 3 or GT5. Heavy Rain is inferior to so many games already if you don't look at characters cause that's the only thing that looks decent.

i can spin it that way - ps3 have to always catch up with 360.
Gears of War was beaten by Uncharted year after its release.
Gears of War 2 was beaten by Uncharted 2 year after its release.
Forza 2 was beaten almost year after its release by Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
i wonder how long will it take Sony to beat Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Mechwarrior etc.

Well, talking about graphics, we have only PS3 and 360.  Wii produce games which could easy run on PS2.

6 months ? what after Gears2 on 360 ?   On PS3, it was MGS4, then KZ2, then Uncharted2, then GT5, God of War3, Heavy Rain, The last Guardian, FFXIII Versus, etc.    360 simply lacks the hardware to come again close to PS3 from a tech point of view.

Splinter Cell, Mass Effect2 ?? are you kidding ?  Uncharted2 already blows away all these games, they were shown at last E3, and you forget that 360 was released 1 year before in America and Japan, and nearly 1 year and half before in Europe; why people forget this little detail ?

Uncharted2 is a 3rd generation game, and beats now all 4th generation 360 games

First and foremost, one thing that people seems to conveniently forget is that the 360 has been on the market for 12 months more than the PS3 and hence, developers for the 360 have had an extra 12 months to get to grips with (supposedly) an easier to w, Gork with piece of hardware.

I take into account that Sony has more developers that build PS3 specific engines at the moment, but this is down to MS short sightedness in keeping good inhouse teams as well as a good string of 2nd part developers....they have resorted to buying exclusives, but this does not mean that those exclusives have not been specifically tailored to the 360.

Anyway Gears of War in 2006 set a benchmark for the 360 and in fact Next Gen HD gaming on consoles.  This was blown well and truely out of the water with Uncharted which released exactly 12 months later (but the same timescale into the consoles lifespan).  IMHO nothing so far released on the 360 has beaten Uncharted Drakes Fortune and here we are 2 years later.

In the following 2 years Gears 2 has been released and although technically better than the first Gears still a little short of Uncharted.  On the PS3 however we have had GT5P, MGS4 and Killzone 2, of these games, the only game that betters Uncharted is Killzone 2....and now we have Uncharted 2, which is another big leap up again.

It seems that the 360 will most of the time get the better version of a multiplatform game, especially one thats built on UE3, but when it comes to exclusives, the PS3 is miles ahead with regards to graphics.

To me MGS 4 graphics looks so bland that even superb animations can't change the bad felling.

Rage, Crysis 2 and Dust 514 already looks better on consoles than all ps3 exclusive that were released including Uncharted 2. Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2(pretty much the best character models ever made in games), Kingdom Under Fire 2, Mechwarrior are as well much more impressive.
