Here in the Middle East, I've never encountered such people (then again, most are PS supporters).

All this trash about gamestop yet I've never had a bad experience at any of them. Sounds more like kiddies trying to be cool by 'hating the big guy.' You guys hating on gamestop are the equivalent to emos hating on mainstream music.

I had kinda the same question in my mind after reading the opening post.  Not that i doubt your story, but the conclusion that they were Xbots?  Maybe it was clear to you or you left part of the story out. 

My first reaction on reading your story is that maybe they were pissed because they wanted to buy the game themselves, at the end of their shift or something. Did they have other copies or did clean them out?

^^ Or maybe they were aware that the game shouldn't have been selling at that date?

Or was it 5 minutes past closing time?

i replyed to that already mate, look on page 2 lol and there was about 20 copys and i took 3 so there was plenty of Drake to go around lol

and to 'Fufinu' it was 2pm and they dont close till 6, and they knew they where braking the street date, they always do AND they import games from America and Japan that arnt in the UK for a few months still. 

they have been rude to me before about a spyro game but that is such a long story that i wont go into now lol

Actually, they were probably a little disappointed that you bought the LAST three copies because store policies dictates that employees are not allowed to reserve copies of the game for themselves.

The same thing happened to me at GameStop, I bought the second to last copy of Uncharteded 2, and the cashier told me he hopes no one buys the last copy so he can at the end of his shift.

I asked him why he couldn't just buy one now, he said he has to wait until the end of the day. If he purchased one before the end of the day, he'll get in trouble with the boss.

I felt bad for him, but hey what can ya do?

I was thinking the same thing...I did see the part where he was a balent ps3 fanboy though, maybe he just got the people confused. ;)

Have you thought that maybe they wanted those three copies?
