I got three in the package with mine. 

Resistance which always crashed on the fourth level.

Motorstorm which was great fun online once they sorted the cheating.

And Genji which still has the wrapping on it 30 months later. Must try it some time.

Mine was Metal Gear Solid 4.

Bought a used 60 gig August last year from a pawn shop nearly brand new. I also bought Lair when it came out. So I had 2 games to play, but MGS 4 was first.

MGS4 for me. When i buy it again, it'll be for FFXIII :p

Killzone 2. That is why I took one first (with MGS4).

ridge racer and elder scrolls: oblivion

i actually couldn't get into oblivion because i got motion sickness from the first person perspective.

ridge racer was fun... but i haven't picked it up in a very long time.

my first game was Motorstorm (cause it came with the system hahaha) but the first game I bought was Guitar Hero III.

Resistance 1. First console FPS I played, it was awesome on splitscreen.

Resistance: FoM & Ridge Racer 7

Resistance: FOM was the first one I played. I got Heavenly Sword & Motorstorm with it too.

Oblivion and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. They're both still among my favourite PS3 games.

EDIT: I got my PS3 in December 2007. I did buy RFOM recently, for £5. Don't own MotorStorm or Ridge Racer, and I have no desire to own either.
