I would have to say H.K as he has produced so much more... No, I like F.U's games immensly, so I say Fumito Ueda-san.

True and while I agree, Kojima is better I think Ueda's games have just touched gamers in so many ways that he's able to go toe-to-toe with Kojima. I mean the kind of Hype that TLG is getting is something much different then MGS4's I mean people are going absolutely nuts for TLG while peopler were going just crazy for MGS4

The last GUARDIAN won't even come close to LBP hype. You really forgot MGS4 hype, huh, Just the mention of it for the 360 shook up the internet.

Man I'll admit, I avoided all talks MGS4 last year on forums. I also wasn't here back then. The LBP hype was for sales potential but honestly the hype surroudning the quality of experience for TLG is huge.

Honestly though, I think if I had played an MGS game more recently than Ico, I'd be voting the other way around.

For my favorite games, choosing a favorite is often more a matter of which ones I've played the most recently. Ico just happens to be the last I was working on.

Now, I there's a lot of games there, but I will use the Meta for the big games from both.

Metal Gear = 94

metal gear 2 = 96

meal gear 3 = 94

metal gear 4 = 94

Now, I know it doesn't seem fair because they have made a bunch of other games, but I chose the big ones.


ICO= 90

Shadow of the Colossus = 91

But Shadow is one of those games even when i got ride of MY ps2, I kept around. I just never wanted to let it go, so is MGS4.

Both are eloquent. But where Ueda is graceful, Kojima is convoluted.

My choice is, then, Fumito Ueda.

I think both of them have done a few masterpieces, and even though I personally prefer MGS3 to both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, I think I'd place Ueda over Kojima.

I wanna say Ueda, but it wouldn't be fair. I've yet to tackle the MGS series. Crazy, I know - never had a PS1, so missed the MGS train when it came (I recall my friend obsessing over it).

It'll happen, someday.
