I always thought 7 dog years are one human year if it would be otherwise dogs would become a lot older then humans.

No dude, it's 1 dog year is 7 human years. Look it up.

Ah yes of course I mixed it up.

My launch 360 lasted until Feb. 09 and died on me. Does your 360 talk in parables and find hookers sitting by wells and save them? I could see that being a problem that I wouldn't want, unless it turned water into wine, or maybe heat into wine and that's why it lasted so long.

Congrats to the Jman, mine is just passing it's second birthday, but still no problems. Mine is even pretty quiet and doesn't even get warm. I guess I'm just really lucky....

MS will track and hunt you down.. how will they sell u 2 xbos360's if your current one is still running.. SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE!

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

Gratz! mine is over 2 years with no major problems. Hopefully Microsoft release a redesigned 360 next year, so I can go easy on my elite.

Use the HD install option every chance you get. It'll increase your systems longevity, and decrease the noise.

Good for you bro. I still miss the SNES era though. You could piss on the SNES and it would give you a cookie.

Haha, joke thread? I was listening to a recent Listen Up podcast and I think at least 3 of the 4 members mentioned having launch 360's that have never RROD'd.

Also I think RROD was pretty solved beginning with Jasper. So all the people with 2 year 360's going strong in this thread isn't surprising.

Hell, I did have one RROD, about a year after getting my launch 360, but the replacement I got back ran great for a little over 3 years since then ( I recently replaced it with an new Elite, but it was working fine). You dont see me making a thread over it.
