Forums - Gaming - The Official Assassin's Creed II Thread

I'm surprised this thread is only 7 pages long. Anyway this game is fantastic, surely topples the first in every way! if you a trophy/achievement addict this game just throws them at you, I'm not even done with the game and have 71% of the trophies

Around the Network

I'm most of the way through it, but had to take it back to the rental store before I could beat it.

So far it's quite an improvement over the first one.

"It's me! Mario!"

The ending is so fucking weird and the truth was messed up. I just can't get my head around it. Oh well its a great game and its worth the price.

watch the truth and the ending 2 times, then you might understand.

SPOILER:

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Mankind was created by a Species, you may remember Minerva - she is/was one of them.

They were Strong, but Human were many, and because the human mind was not ready for the Ancient Species, they began to fight each other.

One day, Adam and Eve (Ancestors of Subject 16) did steal the Eden's Apple (ololol), the relic Ezio had later.

But before the winner was clear,

(the chances for the ancient's to win was bad, after all the human's got a source with much power from the apple)

the Earth's Magnetic field went to a crittical Point, and then  there was a sun erruption, which would have killed

all the living organisms on Earth, but then the Ancient Species tried to safe at least the human species and so they sacrificed themselfes to safe

some human's , who repopulated earth later.

After all, the Templar and the Assassins were the only two "groups" of Human's who know about the existence of the relics of the ancients.

The Templar tried to get them for more Power and influence , and the Assassins are trying to prevent that.

And XXXXXXX Years later, in the middle of this kinda rivalry, the Sun-erruption will happen again, while  the Earth's Magnetic field reached a

crittical Status again, which would mean the total annihilation of mankind.

And that was Ezio's task: to figure that all out, so that desmond know's that he has to prevent that.

------------------------------------------

at least its just a wierd theory, dont kill me if its wrong. ^^

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Just over 10 hours in, and this is just a phenomenal game. Apart from the annoying graphical issues, crap start and a few rubbish missions, it is simply amazing, and I am really really really enjoying it. Admittedly, I adored the first one, and so I did expect quite a lot, but this has exceeded my expectations. I keep on getting new toys to play with and everything is just so fun!!!

I have just finished memory block 10, so I think I am quite close to the end

Besides making it hard to read. What you said here is 100 true. The game is kind of creepy though. But I love it. I haven't felt this disturbed yet intrigued by a story since MGS2's patriot spin

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Very close indeed.

I've completed the main quest in exactly 12 hours. There are still some things to do.

So far it's the most addictive single player I've played all year. I'm only on Sequence 5 in the story but I've collected every treasure in Florence, the Villa and Tuscan and have been doing every single side mission available. I've also already maxed out the villa and have a butt load of cash that I'm waiting to spend on new gear. So far my favourite game for the year.

Just finished in 12 hours 10 minutes, apparently with 58% synchronisation

However, the end has just left me scratching my head
