Well... it has to be better than most of Jack's recent movies.

Damn this must be one hell of a game then probably a 11/10.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

It delivered!!!!!!!!!

First day purchase for me! Time Schafer's commercial success has been a long time coming and I hope this is the game that gets him some more mainstream spotlight in the industry. From the sound of the review the demo seems to be fairly indicative of what the main game has to offer - not so in actual gameplay but more in the idea that the game implements a ton of ideas correctly.

I actually liked the demo a lot. There was a lot of good voice acting and you weren't stuck doing the same thing a countless number of times. It had a good variety to it (fighting, cutscenes, driving and even slower parts like riding on the back of that weird legged thing while he's praying to the Metal Gods) that kept me engaged. And the art is an album cover come to life. Just amazing.

These are the kinds of games the industry needs (as well as Demon Souls - which I'm still waiting for mine!) so I support it with a first day buy (the same day as Uncharted 2 which is also a first day buy! :))

I was hoping for higher lasting appeal, still awesome though.

Also, people. Demo's have been known to not give a good impression of a game... Just look at the MGS4 or Valkyria Chronicles demos.

9s are given like free ice cream these days.

When I played the demo, it was too much ' swing one's axe / now loading / cut scene / now loading / play guitar / now loading / cutscene / now loading.

Action is butchered between too many cutscenes

That was probably because it was the very beginning of the game so they had to set up what was going on in the story.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

This game looks great and I will eventually pick it up. However, this game will be slaughtered in sales as its up against Uncharted 2 this week.

Uncharted 2 only comes out on PS3, this will sell ok on PS3 and great on 360 hopefully. It's not going to sell as much as Uncharted 2 probably but as long as it sells well it's a success.
