Wow that thread is pretty much an eye opener to the mentality of people. An opinion that does not conform with the majority is wrong.

By the way I agree with you, trophies/achievements are not added replay value in any game.

I'm sorry, are you saying that people were attacking you in that thread? Because people get banned on this site all the time, and as far as I can tell there was nothing close to ban-worthy in that entire thread... though I got bored and stopped reading after about 100 posts.

Not to mention that you were by far the most active poster in the thread -- I think if you'd stopped posting people would have just dropped it.

Anyway, I can only speak for myself, and I wasn't attacking your (WRONG) opinion of the game, merely your comment that it had no replay value. While it is, of course, subjective, it was two people of differing opinions having a debate, ie THE INTERNET.

Most people were just asking dsister for justification. I see no problem with that. Ideally, the people who gave it 9+ should all have justified, but you know as well as I do that a controversial opinion requires more justification than a taboo one. You could say Hitler was evil and leave it at that, but if you said Hitler was a great man, you'd have to justify like hell to avoid being sent to prison.

One good thing that came out of this is that you don't talk in that god damned third person mode any more.
