I actually find it weird to see Mario in the finals. If it's a greatest video game hero contest, shouldn't the most heroic win? I mean, Mario is a great VG icon but a great hero...I don't know. Or am I looking to deep into it...
In the rules of the competition it says companies are allowed to advertise the poll.
There is no shame in Valve supporting there character.
I actually think it is a really good thing that the company is showing Gordon some love.

No that's what I thought to when I was voting and then bob and blob won almost every round. i think it was a tactic thing for the grand prize or.. B and B have a huge following that we didnt know about.

Again stop sugar coating it. I ask you one more time, do you think World of Warcraft is more popular in this world than Pokemon. It is a simple yes or no question. Not which one is more played in the last minute.

It is a greatest hero, but obviously it has turned into greatest Character/Icon.
It's a greatest hero contest.
That is why Mario shouldn't even have been in the quarter finals.
