I remember when the PSP was outselling(not even competing but plain out outselling) the DS everybody was talking about how the DS saturated or how the DS was dead in Japan. Now look at sales. So yeah.... this generation has shown us that first place isn't always consistent. The Wii is just having less than it's average sales. Whether it keeps declining or it gets back on top we will see. One thing is for sure. The PS3 isn't(and probably won't be) that far off in weekly sales. They are probably going to be competing for a while.

I'm actually shocked PS3 isn't ahead of Wii this year with all the stuff going for it. Outside of MH3 and Wii Sports Resort, the Wii has had absolutely nothing in terms of software since mid 08.

What i find more jilarious is the fact that Wii has outsold PS3 by almost 5 Million there.

What I find the most jilarious is that VGC has become so predictable that when PS3 doesn't outsell Wii over the holidays, most of the people screaming that it was going to happen will backpedal and try to spin it into a glorious moment that the PS3 didn't quite cut it in outselling the Wii and ignoring all the factors that even got it to that point. The few that won't spin this will drop off the face of VGC and abandon their accounts.

This is of course ignoring the jilarity that these expectations were pulled far back from the Wii suddenly dying overnight for being a "fad" and the PS3 dominating the world.

Worldwide, Wii will take it with ease.

It may not be blatant, but it is there. The "jilarious" posts are getting on their way to making this discussion off topic. Not only is the tone of the posts not necessary, but they are the early fuel of a flame war. Maybe that wasn't your guys intention, but it will eventually spread and spread to those who have that intention. Basically, there are better ways to discuss this, and the Jilarious  discussion isn't it. The op made a valid thread(even if it isn't wanted by some)  and everybody is skewing it over a typo, or subtle arguments. So whether you prefer the word "trolling" or "baiting" it is there. Maybe not big, but in here.
