Oh... no shit. Of course Orange Box is btte than HL2. It has HL2 all its episodes Potrtal and TF2. Some fo the best (and some are THE best) fer person games out there.

actually, he is highly developed. You need to understand HL's timeline to know his full story though.

Erm... I just remembered Half-Life 2 wasn't the problem, I tried the Demo to Portal and Half-life 2 and they ran great.
I was thinking about Episode 1, 2 and Team Fortress. Does are newer games, right?

lol, yeah man, I was talking about the mythos behind it earlier, and how its much more easily understood reading about it, than it is playing the actual game.

its because the game series skips a large gap in time that is only told to you later on.

You never really know what happens between 1 and 2. I remember trying to shoot the first vortigaunt I saw and wondering why the fuck I can't do it. It got explained piece by piece as the game progressed though.

I don't know if anyone told you this, but you should go back an play Half Life 1. That's the real gem.
