I MADE this thread thinking I was gonna say

GT:PSP launches to sales LESS THAN other PSP racing games

but after doing research, I found out that on the PSP racing games that we have FULL DATA for.....GT:PSP actually pwns them in week 1 sales

There are a few PSP racing games we don't have data on, but as those racing franchises aren't strong in Japan, I'll Gvie GT:PSP the benefit of the doubt!

Just to add one final thing, GOW:COO sold less than GT:PSP in its 1st week & its close to 2 million now

so I guess around atleast 2 million is guaranteed for this game!!

EDIT: I just realized it was UP for Download......so the WEEK 1 figure should be much higher in reality hence DEFINETELY making it the biggest week 1 for ANY PSP Racing game.

Still not impressive for Gran Turismo, the name makes it look pathetic.

Kind of like if New Super Mario Bros. Wii sold 200k first week, and people got all excited and would think it would be AMAZING if it sold 2 million worldwide life time. Obviously 2 million would be seen as a complete flop.

It is a game on PSP.

The most heavily pirated platform. And a whole lot more sales will have been DD.

In reality, the sales for it would have probably been 400-500k.

Not my problem Sony's system is pirated so much, If I were to use the pirate excuse Nintendo games have sold fantastic on the PSP!

The fact of the matter is it has underwhelming sales for a GT game, very underwhelming. even 500k would be unimpressive for the series.
