@Slimebeast - You know, I expected to see low-balling in this thread, but honestly it really doesn't look like it.

I can easily see Halo 3 being an 8 for some, and it's got few 8s.

In other ranking threads scores have been all over the place, with 9s and 3s for the same game.

The point isn't for those who love the game only to give a score, but to see the breadth of scores and where the final 'average' settles - which means people who genuinely don't see Halo 3 as 10/10 can and should score the title.

I guess Halo 3 was always going to be a potentially flammable title to rank - but I'm surprised how few lower scores there are, so I really think you might be jumping at shadows. Unless I've missed it I haven't seen a 7 or a 6, I think the lowest is an 8 - 80% - that's not low-balling.

If it turns out more people on the site lean to 8 than 10 well that's just the way it goes.

sure, that's why I mention they would probably give 6's in one of my post's, I find it hard to believe a Sony fan who hates Microsoft and Halo would give the game an 8/10 or higher

I've got mixed feelings about Halo 3. The Singleplayer was, for me atleast, not the great experience many made me believe. I can detail it, but I feel that alot of 360 fans, like SlimeBeast, will be mad at me. The multiplayer though, was as good as the reviews made you believe. I just got bored after two months. That's not Halo's fault, since the only games I've been playing longer then two months online are Call of Duty 4 and Killzone 2. The graphics were good at the time, but they feel outdated right now. The water effects are still pretty good though. The story is interesting and the level design is great.

Overall 8.2 - .2 (Since it isn't a ps3 exlusive, right Slimebeast?). I gave it a 8 so all the 360 fans don't get upset, if it was a Ps3 game I would've raited it fair, so more like a 7 - 7.5

Well 2 or 8, they have nothing to gain by any of this, you know what some people are like though. If they give it 8's it's less likely to get above their precious 9.52 for MGS4.

This is one of my favorite games of all time and for good reason. Ive spent more time with this game online than any other title.

I felt no need to play it online. I beat the game the experience with friends was good while it lasted but the gameplay itself didn't make we want to play it online. I got the same experience playing multiplayer as anyone else who played online. I will respect the OP though and not respond to anymore of these...
