people won't storm the shops to get a 200€ Wii first day here in germany - september probably was worse than august and the first three days of cotober weren't good enough to "save" the month

Wow, PS3 is 124k VS 30k x360 during August-September.
It outsold x360 by 4 times, and Germany is not the strongest PS3 region. There are some countries, where PS3 is even more popular, well except UK maybe, but in all Europe.. i see that PS3 rules.

You actually have proof these are the weeks included in the numbers or do you just assume they'll use the same weeks as NPD?

Actually Germany has overtaken the UK as the largest gaming market in europe. But PC gaming is huge in germany so you can't tell by just looking at consoles.

like what been said gazzilion times, outside the US people like Playstation brand more.

GFK August/September 2009 - VGC August/September

PS3: 124,000 - 92,161 (-31,839)
Wii: 66,200 - 94,846 (+28,646)
360: 29,500 - 49,460 (+19,960)

VGC undertrack PS3 but overtrack both Wii and X360 (large gaq). PS3 supposed to outsell both X360 and Wii combined for 2 months. How can this happen ? If all 3 overtrack/ undertrack i can understand. Or is there are other country import PS3 from Germany. GFK include them but VGC only count PS3 that sold in Germany ?

A lot of people are buying Software and Hardware in UK because its a lot cheaper there. And the Software is always uncut. Sometimes in Germany they are cutted, the people buy US Versions just to be 100% sure they didnt change anything. The Import market for Software is bigger then in any country in the world. I would say that 60% of my Games are from US or UK and my Console is from UK. On ebay they sell alot US Ps3s and on Amazon too its easy 249 for PS3 in Uk thats 275 Euro thats 25 Euro. And if you buy a US PS3 thats so incredibly cheap its a little more then 200 Euro. I mean thats so damn cheap. Why should someone buy a German Console ?

On topic. Those are great sales. I would imagine people in germany buys their games from other countries concidering the cencor in the country.
