really? Xbox has had a terrible year imo. I think the wii is even ahead of MS this year.

Off the top of my head - Halo ODST, Star Ocean 4, L4D2, Splosion Man, Shadow Complex, and most importantly, Forza 3. Pretty good already, no?

I think all three consoles had a "silent" year. Sure every console had its exclusives but it was nothing spectacular that blew me away.
I like(d) Uncharted 2, Halo ODST, Killzone 2, Forza 3 and Left 4 Dead 2. So 2 games on the PS3, 2 on the Xbox360 and one add-on for the Xbox360.

The biggest hits are / were / will be multiplat this year. Modern Warfare 2 (nuff said), Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, Beatles Rockband, Tekken 6, Assassins Creed 2 etc. If one of those titles would have been exclusive to any console, people would hype the shit out of it.

2010 will be a hell of year with tons of exclusives though.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Sony shouldn't have won last year. Sony should definitely win this year (it's really not even that close this year...well...SO FAR, it could change).

Edit:  I'm not looking at it from a sales perspective, but "quality".  The PS3 has had quite a few AAA titles...I think Forza is MS firsts.  Not sure if the Wii has had any yet but surely will with NSMB.

Sony will win for sure at gametrailers line up.

This year the first game Xbox 360 exclusive they are really happy about is Forza 3. Halo ODST was a mix of bag for the staff. (Even for Die hard Xbot Marcus).

While Killzone 2 made them happy, Demon Souls SURPRISED them (Game that surprises is always good) Uncharted 2 was named as an GOTY contender for them.
