ps3 hands down.. sonys starting to put all there 1st party studios to good use

Ratchet and Clank will be awesome.
Uncharted 2 will be awesome.
Demon's Souls IS awesome.

really? Xbox has had a terrible year imo. I think the wii is even ahead of MS this year.

I'm about to buy an HD console, and it's always software that's most important to me. I have to say:

PS3

It just has more going for it at the moment.

(As a Nintendo fanboy I can say with a pain in my heart that Nintendo doesn't have a chance in hell)

Off the top of my head - Halo ODST, Star Ocean 4, L4D2, Splosion Man, Shadow Complex, and most importantly, Forza 3. Pretty good already, no?

PS3 will win it, easily. The biggest '09 games for the 360 I can think of are Halo: ODST, Forza 3, Halo Wars, and Left 4 Dead 2. With the PS3, there are a few more games, including inFamous, Demons Souls, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and Ratchet and Clank: ACiT.

I only own a PS3 and Wii, and I've had something to play all year long on my PS3 (I haven't even played my Wii in over a year, other than VC games and 3 hours of MadWorld).

Off the top of mine-

Wii Sports Resort, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Fit Plus, Punch Out!!, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Tales of Graces, Monster Hunter 3, Metroid Trilogy, Dead Space: Extraction, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, Tales of Monkey Island, Mario and Sonic @ Winter Olympics.

More than enough to match what you listed.

I still think wii had better year, than MS, at least MS is making it up next year for lackluster year. Ps3 had the best one by the long shot this year.
