Of course will sell more than 2.5million.

No one had any doubts about that. And is being released at the best time of the Ps3. At the of peak of ps3, the moment where Ps3 is turning the war around.

I knew uncharted 2 would be that great when was first announce. From what I had seen on uncharted on 2007 and the Naughty Dog name attached to it. Naughty dog made the best 3d plataforms at the time with Crash bandicoot 1, 2 ,3 and the best kart racing game ever released.
Crash was better than mario 64 in quality, and CTR (crash team racing) surpassed mario kart 64 in quality for a big margin.
They achieved on their first games a better product than the the veterans at time (Nintendo) couldn't even deliver.

And I knew the Ps3 would be a success since 2008 MSG4 launch and blu-ray won the HD war.

Well the first one did 2.6 million, and preorders for this one is pretty healthy, doing very well on Amazon at the moment, although who knows how reliable that is, but yeah somewhere between 2.5-3.5 million in sales is likely.

 

Although all of its salse will be in NA and Others, in Japan it'll be lucky to get 100K

Given how much better this game is than the first, I'd hope it'd sell better than the first!

And if all else fails, there will be bundles!

So... whats with your logic? You don't think Uncharted 2 > Killzone 2?

OT: 2.6m for the first one... and that was a game with legs. Used games in circulation. This game should sell as much as the first. and surpass it.

I am merely expecting lower sales than uncharted 1 just like Resistance 2 & Motorstorm 2 got lower sales

Seriously, Resistance 2 and Motorstorm 2 were seen by many people as inferior sequels that didn't add enough upon the first game. That's vastly different from Uncharted 2, which is also benefiting from a hell of a lot more hype.

Sales numbers will talk.

Please don't lump them

Motorstorm 2 is seen as a big improvement over 1 by all who owned it, if it weren't for that godforsaken horrible demo that they released, it would have sold 1 million +

Anyway they are my sales expectations......its more likely this will happen than some of the 3 - 4 million people are predicting

I see a repeat of a killzone 2 sales disappointment personally, best I save myself from the disappointment.

You forgot about MGS4? It outsold MGS3.

My original prediction for Uncharted 2 was 2.9-3.1M and I'm sticking with it.
