Considering the very strong public perception of the first game I'd say they'll hit that mark easily, probably going beyond 3M when all is said and done.

It's not just possible, or even probable, it's certain.

It's when you start getting up to 3.5 million that it becomes probable, and 4 million + is possible, but by no means likely.

It should be able to do it. Lower price + advertising + reviews and sales of the first game should help it get there. I'd say even 3 million by year's end.

We'll see how it plays out.
