How about this for an ad........you see Harrison Ford talkin to a little kid, possibly a grandson or something. The kid shows him the PS3 and Harrison starts playing Uncharted 2. You see a montage of the best explosions and things we've seen from the game. And then they somehow make an association between Ford's epicness as Indiana Jones and Drake. That image could affect people. I think.

True as that may be, that's not necessarily a trend that matters all that much.  This site has preorders and predictions from strong trends suggesting this might hit about 1 million in sales first week.  Considering that we can almost assume that about 1.5 million at the most will be shipped.  Then of course this will be the dominant PS3 software with nothing until Modern Warfare 2 that can really compete with it on the same level.  There are other big 3rd party games but nothing that could detract Uncharted 2.  Not to mention big exclusive releasing really close to when big holiday sales... they'll sell a lot and of course be able to ship a good amount thereof.  I would say 2.5-3.0 million by the end of the year even if only 2.0-2.5 has been actually sold. 

Easy. It should do around 3.5 to 4 LTD. From what I heard its going to be the BEST PS3 game. I love Uncharted 1 but will not purchase Uncharted 2 for the time being or maybe ever.

BTW there is one 3rd party game of your radar that may interfere with Uncharted 2's sales.......Assassins Creed 2, surely that game is gonna be HUGE too!

So, why is this hard to believe?

Yeah, it'll sell 2.5M easily. MP beta was pretty cool - I'm working on getting a copy.
