isnt SONY in the lead for most 1st party games this GEN??????

Actually, they are in last by my count, but Microsoft had an extra year.

(Although I did only count console games.)

EDIT: Sony has one more game than MS.

Microsoft has more first party games than Sony this gen?

I have trouble believing that.

We're done bud, you don't understand reasoning...

OK, but have you considered that you just suck at reasoning?

No, I haven't. Let's check the post histories though, then come back and see who FAILS at reasoning...

Why do you think everybody else gave up debating with you? I was the only one foolish enough to continue, it's BEEN pointless from the get-go...

I thought they gave up because they lost.

So you don't think that Sony is a electronics company and Microsoft a software company?

Nintendo the Game company gives us hardware that can barely keep up with last gens best machine and inaccurrate controls and is praised for being the only game company. They are doing what they always do and give us Mario in everthing. While Sony is trying to create new ips and publishing more first party games and are in the wrong.
Yeah, teh PS3 came out to expensive and for the wrong reasons for the most part but to say gaming is not important to Sony after being the market leader for as long as they where is wrong. The best part of the PS brand has been the 3rd support. Which isn't a bad thing and I prefer over the way Nintendo makes things seem to be about 3 franchises.

Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move,  and Kinect.

I think it's great to rely on 3rd party support but only if you're selling a commodity like a CD or DVD player. Also, there needs to be more publishers because the ones we have now are just messing it up. People used to make games themselves. Games didn't used to take as much money tomake. Also, there weren't as many cutscenes. I'm tired of all these big companies ruining gaming.

My bad, I miscounted.  It's close though.

Retail games released in any region:

Microsoft has published 34 games on the 360 since 2005.

Sony has published 35 games on the PS3 since 2006.

Nintendo has published 48 games on the Wii since 2006.

(Both Nintendo and Sony have quite a few Japan only releases while Microsoft only has one.)

Well in gaming Nintendo is as big as they come. So, Liquid what would Sony or Microsoft have to do besides make some of the best selling game consoles ever. Some of the most recognizable game franchises ever. Invest billions into making these consoles. And in the case of Sony for a long time make the bulk of your money from games and consoles to be condidered a serious gaming company?
